On November 9th, 2023, Utah Forward will hold a vote to elect the four positions of the Executive Committee, whose responsibilities will be articulated in the [unfinalized] Constitution and Bylaws. The elected positions are:
Once these positions are filled and the Constitution & Bylaws are ratified, the State of Utah will issue a certificate naming the organization a registered political party. Utah Forward will then be free to RUN CANDIDATES in the 2024 election cycle!
During this pre-formation period (before the party regulations are officially established), we invite all interested Forwardists to participate in this vote, and the subsequent vote to accept the party constitution. In order to participate in the voting, we require that you RSVP via this form before the vote - please do that at the bottom of this page. This step is essential so that we can send you an online form for voting and to verify your status as a registered Utah voter and your intention to register with the party after formation.
Applications for elected and non-elected volunteer positions are OPEN. To apply for an Executive Committee position, please submit your interest by Tuesday, November 7th, 11:59PM MT. County leadership and volunteer positions will remain open on an ongoing basis; submit your interest via the same form.
