Last week we invited Utah’s mayoral candidates to sign the Forward Party Pledge. This pledge is nonpartisan in nature. It signals a public commitment to campaign and serve in a manner that is consistent with key values that we hold dear at the Forward Party, like:
- Treat Everyone with Respect and Dignity
- Act with Ethics, Integrity, and Compassion
- Strengthen Democracy to Elevate the Voters’ Voice
Municipal elections are nonpartisan, so the Forward Party does not endorse or directly support municipal candidates. These pledges show which local leaders are committed to good governance at the community level.
